Hosted virtually by the Local Community Services Association (LCSA) in partnership with the International Federation of Settlements and Neighbourhood Centres (IFS) and proudly supported by the Australian Neighbourhood House & Centres Association (ANHCA), the IFS Conference brings together the global network of Neighbourhood and Community Centres to engage around the theme of “Social Justice: The Unfinished Journey, Global Issues – Local Solutions”.

**Conference update**

The IFS Conference 2021 program will be delivered entirely online in order to give our attendees, speakers and organisers certainty and peace of mind during this rapidly changing time of COVID-19.

IFS Conference 2021 remains committed to providing a unique opportunity to learn, connect and participate in a global network of Settlement and Neighbourhood Houses and Centres. Despite not being able to meet in-person, much of the program remains unchanged as we extend our online format to include most of the previously advertised content. We have planned an engaging, meaningful and dynamic event to meet our aim of fostering renewed thinking and dialogue about our sector's role in a complex world, gaining insight into social justice challenges and how we can proactively respond to these in our practice and advocacy.

One of the focus points of the conference will also be the contribution Neighbourhood Houses and Centres make towards the United Nations Social Development Goals (UNSDGs).

With 38 hours of content over 4 days, we have a fantastic line-up of international speakers, panelists, presenters, and performers who will help shape our thinking and discussion around our theme of Social Justice: The Unfinished Journey, Global Issues - Local Solutions. All registered attendees will have access to the conference from anywhere in the world, join sessions in relevant time zones, participate in live discussions and Q&A, develop global partnerships, friendships and cultural exchange through formal and informal networking.

If you are part of a local Neighbourhood or Community Centre or House that is a current member of a state or national body with IFS Membership, then you are also considered to be a member of the IFS Network and eligible to select Member rates when purchasing IFS Conference tickets. Members Rates apply to anyone who is a member of one of the following organisations:

Refund policy

PAYMENT OF REGISTRATION FEES All accounts must be paid in full prior to the Conference. Early Bird Registration fees will be available until 31 May 2021. Payment for Early Bird Registrations MUST be received by COB on 30 June 2021. After this date the Early Bird rate expires and the Standard rate will be applied automatically to all unpaid registrations. CANCELLATION OF REGISTRATION We hope that you will not have to cancel your registration, however if you are unable to attend the conference due to unforeseen circumstances, a refund may be available, subject to the following timeline: • Cancellations received prior to 16 August 2021 will receive a full refund, less $100 administration charge • 21 days beforehand - 80% refund available • 7 days beforehand - 50% refund available • 0-6 days beforehand - Refund not available To request a cancellation/refund, please contact the event organiser by email: ifsconference2021@fetchingevents.com.au If you are unable to attend, a substitute is welcome at no extra charge. Please advise our event organiser of the details of the substitute delegate in writing (email).
