Mid Coast 2 Tops Landcare have continued to partner with MidCoast Council and the Rural Fire Service to help Mid Coast communities with reducing bushfire risk on their property while protecting biodiversity.

As a result, we have developed multiple fire ecology resources that we would like to share with you, the community!

To celebrate the launch of these resources, and provide an opportunity to interact with fire management specialists we are running this event!

On the night, you can expect:

a presentation by Duncan on his report; ‘Rural Community Wildfire Resilience’
SIM table demonstrations
interactions with a local brigade and some of their equipment
Representatives from the following organisations to chat to:
- Duncan Scott-Lawson - Bush Fire Practitioner
- Local Land Services - Aboriginal Communities Support Officer
- local Rural Fire Brigade(s)
- Mid Coast Council
- Mid Coast 2 Tops Landcare.

There will be a BBQ dinner for a gold coin donation for the local fire brigade with drinks, sausage or veggie pattie options available!
