Ignite Change Materclass - Fostering Safer Spaces
Event description
Ignite Change Masterclass - Fostering Safer Spaces Melbourne
Whether in our meetings or working in communities, we can advance our struggle for justice by creating safer spaces for everyone, and by challenging the norms and power dynamics that make spaces unsafe for some people. What is a safe space? Can a space be safe or should we aim for a 'safer' space. Does this mean that people will feel safer enough to participate? Should we aim for Brave Spaces?
These Ignite Change Masterclasses are 20% activities based; 20% theory; 20% peer learning, 20% reflective practice and 20% incredible food and fabulous people.
What: Join Lana in a one day Masterclass alongside community development practitioners to unpack this topic.
