Read the following information to find out more:
Igniting the Conversation for Digital Equity - Tuesday 13 October 9:00am – 10:00am
Join us online with an expert panel to ignite the conversation. Speakers will present short ‘lightning talks’ from a range of unique perspectives, followed by a conversation around key themes, initiatives, opportunities and challenges. As part of this online hour we will ask you to collate ideas for the smaller group taking part in the Digital Equity Action Sprint. All are welcome to register for this online opportunity.
Panelists:
Stuart Wakefield - Ministry of Education Chief Digital Officer
Arnika MacPhail - Programme Manager Greater Christchurch Schools' Network Trust (GCSN) and Founder impactED
Sue West - Executive Director 20/20 Trust
Kim Connolly-Stone - Policy Director InternetNZ
Helen Farley - Practice Manager Education and Training – Southern Region, Department of Corrections
Julia Arnott-Neenee - Co-founder, PeopleForPeople_NZ
Digital Equity Action Sprint - Thursday 15 October 9:00am - 12:00pm
Are you a thought leader in our community? Do you have great ideas for what could be? Do you understand what it will take? And/or do you have access to resources/connections to make it happen? If so, the Digital Equity Action Sprint is your opportunity to play a more proactive role.
The Action Sprint is limited to 20 people, but it is just the beginning of the conversation so stay connected. This virtual workshop will engage you in a series of activities to draw on the ideas of those present using an online canvas.
In order to make the most of people’s time the Action Sprint needs that extra passion and commitment. We ask that you attend/watch the Expert Panel conversation and on Thursday 15 October you join for the full morning of the virtual workshop. The power of the workshop is to align everyone’s understanding and then move forward together. The activities build on each other so are not suitable for leaving and rejoining the session.
We are hoping to get a range of diverse interests for our Action Sprint. Let us know what you bring when you register:
- Role
- The organization/community group you represent
- Briefly describe what you bring to the conversation
