Guwiyal | Igniting the Fire Within
Event description
Guwiyal (Fire/Flame) - Igniting the Fire Within
An on-Country opportunity for women with purpose to reconnect with their internal flame and inspiration.
As women we come to a crossroad in our life path where we face a choice to step back and be less visible, or to step into our wisdom and honour our voice. What opportunities open up when we reach a point in our lives that our responsibility for others diminishes? How do we find the courage and space to reconnect with the self that emerges? Our wisdom, creativity, talents and passions are waiting.
Come and spend time on beautiful Gumbaingirr/Anaiwan Country with Traditional Knowledge Holders, let Country inspire and heal, reconnect with your own sense of purpose and creativity, build new connections with other women who are embracing their life lessons and gifts.
Carol Vale (a Traditional Owner of this Country) and Michelle Howard are experienced facilitators who share a passion for working inter-culturally and building capacity for change. Our shared experience of working with communities and individuals across Australia and internationally has inspired us to create a focus on our role and leadership as women with life wisdom.
