Event description

IKAT SISTERHOOD CIRCLE

We will focus on 'Recalibration'.

Recalibration is the process of making small or significant adjustments to restore balance, alignment, and purpose. In our fast-paced, ever-demanding lives, women often carry layers of responsibility that gradually pull them away from their own centre. Our Ikat Sisterhood Circle offers a sacred space for women to reflect, and realign—body, mind, and spirit.

Together, we will explore what it means to recalibrate from within—gently releasing what no longer serves and inviting clarity, vitality, and deeper self-connection. Through guided meditation, open-hearted sharing, sound and Reiki healing, this gathering supports you in realigning with your core values, inner wisdom, and authentic path. Whether you're navigating life transitions, seeking renewal, or simply craving soul nourishment, this circle is an invitation to reset and remember who you are beneath the noise.

Come as you are—exhausted or inspired, searching or grounded. This is your time to breathe, recalibrate, and reconnect in the company of supportive, like-hearted and like-minded women.

'Ikat' (pronounced 'ee-kat') means 'to bind' in bahasa and refers to the ancient traditions from Indonesia of textile weaving. With it also referring to Anita & TIna's heritage, In our circle we will come together to weave and bind our stories and share our gifts as a community to create new paths and patterns of beauty and wonder.

The circle will include:

* Clearing energies and deep connection activity

* Guided guided meditation

* Restorative Sound bath & Reiki energy

* Journaling & Reflection

* Light snacks, warm Jamu (an Indonesian herbal tonic traditionally used to restore balance and vitality), herbal tea.

Reiki & what to expect

Reiki means universal life energy and is a hands on practice transferring energy for relaxation and healing. It is a gentle complementary therapy and it is common to become sleepy receiving reiki, experience tummy rumbles or sometimes release some tears and/or emotion. However in this mini treatment, you can most likely expect to experience deeper relaxation and receptivity to the sound healing. If you prefer the reiki element as non contact, please let us know on entering the session. It is important that you feel comfortable. Please hydrate after the session as reiki triggers your body's natural healing process and water and herbal teas will assist in detoxification.

Parking
Free Parking is available on Vincent Street and Clarence Street.

This will be a wonderful journey and space to encourage connection with ourselves, and others.

We can't wait for you to join us.

With care and gratitude

Anita & Tina
