Event description

About the workshop:
Simple, natural and elegant, Japanese flower arranging is a contemplative art form - one part floristry, one part meditation.

Immerse yourself in the peaceful practice of Ikebana, the Japanese art of flower arranging with experienced teacher Ella Herwald. With over 35 years of teaching Ikebana, Ella brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the workshop. During the session, you will create two unique Ikebana arrangements to take home, using seasonal blooms and in your own flower containers. You will also learning about the ideal dimensions, material combinations, colours and forms and the rich history of this traditional art.

Through a step-by-step demonstration, Ella will guide you on how to work with the materials, providing valuable tips, hands-on tuition and insights along the way.

In our intimate group setting, we conclude each session by admiring the unique Ikebana creations crafted by each student. Join us for an unforgettable journey into the art of Ikebana.
