If you are a business, government or research organisation, don't miss this important opportunity to help build the Illawarra's first Circular Economy Precinct, activating new technologies, jobs and economic opportunities for the region.
Illawarra Circular Precincts Activator will be held on Tuesday 3 June 2025, 9:30AM - 1:00PM AEDT at the AIIM Building on the University of Wollongong Innovation Campus.
Lunch and refreshments provided.

The design workshop will be facilitated and run by: Lisa McLean Circular Australia; Dr Helen Lewis Circular Plastics Illawarra; Heidi Robertson Sustainable Advantage; Dr Tillmann Böhme University of Wollongong; and Yvette Barrs Illawarra Shoalhaven Joint Organisation.
Workshop Goals:
- Design a circular economy precinct for the Illawarra in partnership with industry, government and research
- Identify and develop circular business models, products, services and supply chains for industry and communities leveraging the precinct
- Develop high level skills and knowledge to unlock levers for circular economy in your organisation
- Secure commitment from organisations to build and participate in the precinct
