Danielle McDonald, a talented artist, is a children’s book illustrator and artist. After a long and celebrated career designing children’s products for various industries, Danielle has spent the last ten years illustrating children’s books, including Ella Diaries, Ella and Olivia, Meet Ella and Ella at Eden.

Draw Like Ella Workshop
Learn to draw like Ella from the Ella Diaries books, with the series illustrator Danielle McDonald. In this fun and hands-on workshop, you will explore the use of simple line art to draw your own ‘Ella-style’ characters, create your own ‘Ella Diaries-style’ book cover with YOU as the star, and walk away with your very own ‘Ella-style’ portrait. Come and discover Ella‘s world through the joy of drawing.

Before the workshop commences, join us at 10.45am for the launch of our brand new Kids Library Card! Designed by Danielle to match her beautiful mural in the Library, our junior Library members will be able to take home their very own Kids Library Card shortly after BookFest.

For ages 6-12 years. Parents are not required to stay.

Danielle will be available for book signings at the Yass Book Store stand in the Library from 12.45pm-1.15pm.
