Join Alex in this brand new course that focuses on capturing the human figure in action 💥
Over seven weeks, you'll move beyond static front-facing poses and learn how to capture movement, weight, and energy in your figures. From quick gesture sketches to full action scenes, you'll build the skills to pose your characters with confidence.
Week 1 – Gesture Fundamentals
Week 2 – Weight & Balance
Week 3 – Action poses, combat stances, running, jumping, etc
Week 4 – Body Language & how to exaggerate
Week 5 – Posing Characters
Week 6 – Beginning of Final Piece
Week 7 - Finishing Final Piece
Required materials: A4 or A3 Sketchbook, HB, 2B and 6B graphite pencils (I recommend these), hard & kneadable eraser.
