Imaginary Radio Station
Event description
Step into the Imaginary Radio Station, a space of storytelling and music. Ride the waves of memory, embrace halos of sparkling static and be part of a broadcast like no other.
This shape-shifting radio station is composed by Stephen Adams for and in collaboration with the music box project, with dramaturgical support from Nikki Heywood. Weaving together threads of sound, movement and personal reflection, join us for a sonic meditation on radio and connection.
Please note that this performance contains short periods of noise and radio static.
This performance is supported by funding from CreateNSW, with early development work supported by residencies at the Rex Cramphorn Performance Research Studio (Theatre and Performance Studies, The University of Sydney) and at Bundanon.
