Imaginative Play to Drawing… Pirates, Cowboys and Aliens
Event description
Join Us! Imaginative Play to Drawing - Presented by Perserverance Street Theatre Company and BridgeWorx. Proudly supported by Bundaberg Regional Art Gallery
We invite grandparents, parents, and kids to come together in celebration of play, creativity, and storytelling. Let your imagination run wild and make something beautiful-together.
Who Is This Workshop For?
This workshop is specifically designed for intergenerational participation-where adults and children come together to play, create, and connect. It is ideal for grandparents, parents, carers, and children aged 6-12 who are eager to rediscover the joy of imaginative play side by side. At the heart of this experience is a belief that creativity flourishes when generations collaborate. We don’t divide into age groups - we play together, create together, and learn from one another. This shared space fosters deep connection, empathy, and joyful storytelling, reminding us that imagination knows no age limit.
Workshop Overview:
The art of play and creativity is something that should never fade-no matter our age. This joyful, hands-on workshop is designed to reignite the playful spirit that lives within us all. Whether you're a grandparent, parent, or child aged 6-12, “Imaginative Play to Drawing… Pirates, Cowboys and Aliens” invites you into a magical, immersive space where stories are shared, characters are born, and creativity becomes a bridge across generations.
Before bringing their lively performance Pirates, Cowboys and Aliens to the stage, Perseverance Street Theatre is touring host communities to co-create visual artworks that will feature in the final live show.
