The IMAGinE Awards highlight the resilience, innovation and creativity of museums, galleries and Aboriginal cultural centres across NSW and recognise the passionate people who work in them.
The 2026 IMAGinE Awards will be held at Powerhouse Parramatta, bringing together museums, galleries and cultural organisations from across NSW to celebrate the creativity, dedication and achievements of our sector.
Powerhouse Parramatta is Western Sydney's first state cultural institution and the largest museum ever built in New South Wales. Make the most of this opportunity to experience this newly opened cultural institution and use our group discounts to enjoy an evening of festivities with your colleagues and the artists, volunteers, community and cultural workers involved in your organisation and projects.

The 2026 IMAGinE Awards are an initiative of Museums & Galleries of NSW, developed with support from Regional and Public Galleries of NSW, Aboriginal Culture, Heritage & Arts Association of NSW (ACHAA) and Accessible Arts.

Regional Stakeholder Forum 2026
Powerhouse Parramatta
Thursday 26 and Friday 27 November 2026,
This free annual forum is an opportunity for staff and volunteers from regional and Western Sydney museums and galleries to network, share stories and be inspired by current topics relevant to the regional sector.
Limited bursaries will be offered by Powerhouse to support travel costs to Western Sydney for attendees from regional NSW. Full program and application details will be announced in the coming months
The Regional Stakeholder Forum is held by Powerhouse in partnership with Museums & Galleries of NSW and Regional Arts NSW.
