    Over a four-month period FCMG and four guest-curators will produce a night-time program fostering conversations on making and marking space, celebrating the often over-looked and under-represented work of digital artists.

    In the second night of four, join FCMG and guest programmer Claudia Chidiac for Sound Play; a night of sound, movement, interactive artworks, and engaging activities for your little humans to explore and play.

    Performances include: 

    PYT's Silly Village | 4:30pm, 5:30pm, 6:30pm, and 7:30pm 
    Join PYT at Sound Play and experience the joy of Silly Village, a series of pop-up performances taking place at the Vintage Village presented in partnership with PYT Fairfield's 2024 Company artists.

    Dance Party | 5pm, 6pm, and 7pm 
    Get ready for the coolest dance party in the neighbourhood!
    Join EJ Son's Dancing Machine and DJ Gillian Manalac who will keep the music flowing. DJ workshops for kids will be held at 4:30pm and 6:30pm. 

    Lucky Lartey's Performance Workshop | 6pm 
    Transform your body into an instrument in this interactive performance workshop where everyone becomes part of the ensemble!
    With every foot-stomp, handclap and snap of their fingers, Lucky Lartey and his fellow performers create intricate rhythms that pulse through the air, inviting you to join in.


    Hands On Activities include: 

    A Guided Audio Drawing Experience with Khaled Sabsabi: Knowing Beyond | 4:30pm, 5:30pm, and 6:30pm 
    Explore spirituality in everyday life, mystical connections and wisdoms through a collaborative audio drawing experience inspired by Khaled Sabsabi: Knowing Beyond.

    Audio Scavenger Hunt | 4pm - 8pm 
    Your mission is to explore the grounds, listen carefully, and complete fun activities. Get ready for an adventure filled with sounds, stories, and movement!

    Toy Swap | 4pm - 8pm 
    Got toys you’ve outgrown or just want to trade? Join us for the ultimate Toy Swap event! Bring your favourite toys and swap them for something new and exciting. Whether it’s action figures, stuffed animals, or board games, there’s something for everyone. Make new friends, discover awesome toys, and have a blast at our fun-filled toy swap! Don’t miss out on the chance to refresh your toy collection!

    Teddy Bear Headband Making | 4pm - 8pm 
    Get ready to groove in style! Before you hit the dance floor, unleash your creativity and make your very own teddy bear fluro headband. Deck out your teddy bear with a headband that glows in the dark, then wear your matching headband as you dance the night away at our spectacular dance party. It’s going to be a blast, and you’ll be the brightest stars on the floor!

    Round Sounds | 5pm - 7pm 
    Nick Wishart, a musician and interdisciplinary artist, has invented a groundbreaking motion-controlled musical instrument called Round Sounds. In this hands-on demo workshop, you'll have the exciting opportunity to explore and create amazing sounds using Round Sounds along with other innovative electronic musical instruments!

    Location: Fairfield City Museum & Gallery, 634 The Horsley Drive, Smithfield NSW 2164 - entry via Oxford Street.

    Price: FREE, registrations required. Food available for purchase. 

    No parking available onsite, street parking available on Oxford Street.
