    Event description

    Event Overview:
Join us for a transformative journey into the heart of nature at our Forest Bathing Experience, nestled within the serene landscape of Basket Range in the Adelaide Hills, home to the picturesque Commune of Buttons vineyard. Led by a team of three passionate nature based experts, this immersive event offers an increasingly rare opportunity to connect alone with the natural world and nourish your mind, body, and soul.

This event is running as part of Nature Festival 2024.

    Event Details:

Guided Forest Walk: Embark on a guided walk deep into the bushy Basket Range forest, walk led by landscape designer and environmentalist, Emma Sadie Thomson. Letting the whispers of the trees, birdsong and the gentle rustle of leaves guide your steps as you delve into the tranquility of the bush sanctuary.

    Nature Therapy Meditation:

Pause amidst tall trees as Christabel Lewis, a nature-based mental health occupational therapist, leads you through a nature therapy-informed mindfulness exercise. Experience the art of being present in the moment and attuning your senses to the natural rhythms of the forest.

    Solo Immersive Moment:

Venture off on your own for a soul-stirring 30-minute solo moment in the forest. Immerse yourself fully in the sights, sounds, and sensations of nature, and allow the forest to weave its magic around you. Collect natural treasures along the way, guided by your own intuition and curiosity.

    Nature Mobile Workshop:

Reconvene with Margie Lewis, a floral artist, to transform your collected treasures into a unique nature mobile. Under Margie's expert guidance, craft a beautiful keepsake that embodies the essence of your forest journey—a tangible reminder of the beauty and wonder you've encountered.

    Lunch and Connection:

Conclude your immersive experience with a shared lunch and glass of wine back at Emma's front porch where you'll have the opportunity to connect with fellow participants and reflect on your individual experiences. Share stories, insights, and newfound connections forged through the shared bond of nature.
