An Immersive Sound Journey with Kāren Hunter is a restorative experience that offers you a 'moment out of time' to drop into a deeply meditative healing space and be nurtured with medicine songs, sacred poetry, myth based story telling and healing music. 

You will experience exquisite music played on guitar, voice, mandolin, flute, chimes, medicine drum, singing bowls, jaw harp and bells.

Kāren has performed her diverse catalogue of musical styles and workshopped a variety of topics throughout New Zealand since the early 1990’s. Highlights include collaborations with Ora.Vida.Life, Sarsha Hope, Matiu te Huki and Anahera Higgins and the festivals Prana, Luminate, Woodford Festival in AUS and the Michigan Womyn’s Music Festival in the U.S.A.

Kāren’s engaging and participatory workshop style draws from her work with Facilitation training company Zenergy Global. She holds a Masters in Music from the University of Auckland where she also taught for several years on the Popular Music Programme.

Please come 10/15 mins early to set yourself up and bring a mat / blanket / cushion to make yourself comfortable sitting or lying on the wooden floor. There are chairs available for anyone who would prefer one.
