Kia ora and Welcome! At the online Seeds Impact Conference on Thursday 5th October 2023 we will hold many sessions on a diverse range of topics presented by a wide variety of purpose driven organisations. The site www.seedsconference.nz has full updated details but here is an overview.
The theme will focus on reimagining business as a force for good, but we will cover many other topics as well. What exactly will be covered? It is up to those who are leading and coordinating the different sessions.
Why online? It is cheap, reduces travel and connects us across regions. Also, this way we will cover much more by having several zoom rooms running all at the same time. As an example - if we have 3 zoom rooms with sessions that will be 27 total sessions across the rooms during the day.
There will also be one "Community room" where there will be networking, relationship building and break out room discussions. We want to build a community of changemakers - not just have a conference.
There is a charge because I want to pay the people who will run the rooms, and anything leftover will be used for future costs of running similar events (in person or online). The purpose is not to make a profit, otherwise there would be a higher charge...
