IMPACT2030 Australian Regional Council Launch
Event description
The IMPACT2030 Initiative was created to unite companies through collective action and harness the skills and creativity of their employees to advance the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
From this initiative, a Global Assembly was created which consisted of Regional Councils from across the world, whose mission was to commit to the following objectives:
- Activate
- Collaborate
- Measure
Communiteer is very excited to announce that we will be powering the launch of the Australian Regional Council!
The truth is that we’ve been building our platform to support a community like IMPACT2030 for years: A group of members organisations that can mobilise corporate volunteers at scale to contribute towards the UN SDGs.
We were part of the initial meeting to facilitate IMPACT2030 down under, and we’ve been an engaged member since.
Why should you attend?
By attending this event, we will share with you the reasoning behind the council's mission, what we aim to achieve and how you can help us achieve these goals by becoming a member or supporter.
Who to expect
Communiteer’s Victor Lee will be presenting and facilitating this webinar, with the help of our current Regional Council Representatives:
- Louise Dean, Dell Corporate Social Responsibility Lead
- Prof Debbie Haski-Leventhal, Macquarie Business School
Join us to see how we can grow this community together, coordinate regular activities between members systematically, and measure the impact that’s been created over time towards the Global Goals.
In the meantime, for more information about the IMPACT2030 Regional Council, check out our website here.
