Implementing the Science of Learning - For School Leaders

Have you heard about the science of learning, but want to know where to start? Or have you started implementing the science of learning, but you’re not sure where to go next?

This mini-online course will be spaced out over 2 x 2 hour actionable sessions that will help you unlock the who, what, when and why of your school improvement plan. Brendan will present what the science of learning looks like when it is supported by the implementation science.

Session 1 (2pm-4pm AEDT Monday 25 November 2024)

• Overview of the science of learning
• Common barriers to effective implementation

Session 2 (2pm-4pm AEDT Monday 9 December 2024)

• Putting the science of learning into action
• Creating the culture
• Supporting the practice

* At the end of each session, there will be actionable steps that you need to take. 

* This will be an interactive workshop and all participants will be required to have their camera on. This is to ensure that you get as much out of the course as you can, as there will be plenty of participation opportunities.
