IMPROV WORKSHOP with TUCK TUCKER at GFCC – Nov 12 to Dec 17

Tuck Tucker has been performing improv for over 25 years and is a founding member of the longest running Improv Troupe in Maine, Running With Scissors.

Tuck blends the classic improv fundamentals with practical, stage-tested techniques that help students play boldly, listen deeply, and make their scene partners look great.

The workshop will include:

·         5 sessions, highly interactive and on-your-feet (5:30pm to 7:00pm)

·         Mix of warm-ups, targeted exercises, side-coaching, and short form improv games

·         Supportive feedback focused on growth and play

Outcomes

·         Stronger listening and collaboration skills

·         More creative risk-taking and confidence

·         Clearer scene initiation

·         A toolkit for building truthful, funny, and sustainable scenes

·         Duration: 5 classes (e.g., weekly, 1.5 hours each) Wednesdays (5:30pm to 7:00pm)

·         Class size: Limited to ensure individual attention (maximum 12 students)

·         Prerequisites: None—come ready to play!

·         What to bring: Comfortable clothing and notebook (optional)
