About your presenter

As part of his ongoing efforts in community education, Dr Powderly regularly visits workplaces and community organizations to present on the topic of the spine and nervous system. This presentation will be specifically targeting balance, falls, their treatment and prevention. The presentation will last around 50 minutes, with an opportunity for questions at the end.


In a nutshell, Dr Powderly will cover how balance works, how it goes wrong, and how to prevent this going wrong. Dr Powderly's presentations are entertaining and informative, and attendees leave with ideas and tools that they can implement immediately into their lives. This particular topic will implore you to continue your yoga practice as movement is key to keeping your body moving optimally, It will make you consider loved ones potentially older for preventing falls.
