You are invited to a free community screening followed by QnA with the Director and Cast.
Imra’s Ocean is an experimental art film written collaboratively with the cast and directed by local Blue Mountains Filmmaker Ramana Dienes-Browning, Cinematography by Tom Taylor, edited by Kris Rowe and musical score by Kate Reid.
The film is a visual poem about a speculative world. Children are born with no determined gender and evolve into a unique expression of self and can choose to evolve as a hybrid species. The film invites the viewer into an otherworldly space where there is freedom and permission to be authentic and to live in companionship with all species.
