Event description

Hazard Identification and Mitigation

A SIRF IMRt Common Interest Work Group (CIWG)! Free for SIRF Members! Not a Member? Contact us today!

Online via Zoom.

One of the key ways to ensuring a safe workplace is to have a Hazard Identification and Mitigation process where employees are empowered to identify hazards that are then addressed so as to remove or mitigate that hazard.

Many companies have programs like Take 5, Zero Harm, Go Home Safe, Good To Go, etc.

In this workshop CSR will be demonstrating their Risk Reduction Plan they have developed.

We will also have a few members showing what processes they use to improve or maintain the safety of their workplace.

Robert Gologranc, WHSE Regional Manager (Vic, SA, Tas) with CSR.

Robert is the WHSE Regional Manager with CSR. His previous experience has been as a HSE Lead with VINFAST and with Holden as Senior Safety Business Partner Australia and    New Zealand.

He has a wealth of experience working in high-risk environments including automotive, manufacturing, facility management, and warehousing industries.

Robert supports multiple sites with diverse risk profiles, partnering with business unit leaders to drive both national and localised WHSE objectives whilst continuously    improving organisational capability and systems.

CSR has deployed a Risk Reduction Plan, an internal initiative which is focused on the reducing the exposure to critical risk for both safety and environment within their business. The presentation will include a brief background to the business including its risk profile along with the strategy behind the Risk Reduction Plan. During the presentation we will look at how CSR identifies hazards that are focused on as part of the risk reduction plan and the strategies used to mitigate them . We will wrap the session up with a quick look at CSR’s learnings and the influence it plays in the maturity of the program.

Come and learn from CSR and share with others.
