IMRt Masterclass | Where Does Defect Elimination Sit In Your Organisation
Description
Move beyond temporary fixes and embed defect elimination as a core driver of asset reliability and business performance.
Defect Elimination has long been an essential part of achieving and sustaining asset reliability and continued business improvement. The aim is to eliminate the defects in your organisation by applying the “fix forever, not forever fixing” mantra, and to resist the urge to apply a temporary fix to the defect.
Often though, defect elimination is just another continuous improvement program which competes for resources, like people and money. It can also sit tucked away in the maintenance department, only to be spoken of when something goes wrong with a piece of equipment.
This presentation aims to dispel the myths and roadblocks to elevate a defect elimination program from a marginal role to a central part of an organisation's operating model.
