IMRt Roundtable | Condition Monitoring with Expert Presenters!
Event description
Condition Monitoring Roundtable with Expert Presenters!
via Video Conferencing
Condition Monitoring provides the possibility and ability to drive Maintenance activities determined by asset condition as opposed to time based or pre-set intervals. Greatly removing waste from maintenance making it far more efficient and effective. Condition monitoring provides ability to monitor asset health lowering preventable failures resulting in improved equipment availability and greater efficiency of operations for longer durations. With greater information on their assets, Maintenance and Ops teams are kept more informed on their assets to make more confident maintenance decisions.
Advance warning of machine or pressure equipment failures is possible, meaning unexpected breakdowns are avoided with maintenance planned scheduled and delivered in a more cost effective manner. This usually allows greater time spent on greater priority areas such as improving assets performance, driving production output, energy efficiency and more.
Brian Borg - Condition Monitoring Supervisor, Infrabuild
Brian will take us through the condition monitoring technology and techniques Infrabuild is utilising to engage at all levels from front line to leadership and make the right maintenance decisions, drive strategy to drive maintenance efficiency and effectiveness and directly impact on continuous improvements in OEE or the plant year upon year!
Dietmar Jurgensen - Equipment Integrity Team Leader at Qenos
Presenting on the various non-destructive testing technology and techniques Qenos are utilising to great success, to monitor condition of their fixed plant and will share on some of their insights and learnings.
Andrew Ezis – National Sales Manager at Lubrication Engineering
Andrew will cover condition monitoring from a perspective of lubrication. He will share on lubrication and the IoT as there are many emerging technologies available, that provide integration as part of the IoT, however lubrication has traditionally not been considered. Things are finally changing, and now you can monitor your lubricants and critical assets with the aid of sensors, opening up the capability of using real time analytics. But providing an integrated view of your mechanical assets is made more difficult as you need to interpret the data provided. Done well, protection from critical failure is greater than ever before, and using IoT and analytics removes the inherent failures associated to the human element, including contamination! Andrew is Lubrication Engineering's national contact point for Lubrication & Reliability for companies with an aim to provide improved equipment reliability, reduced downtime, reduced maintenance costs and increased profits
Ricardo Cartagena – Mechanical Engineer at AGL Energy
Ricardo is AGL Energy's Mechanical Engineer at their Operations Diagnostics Centre (ODC) and will present on using advanced pattern recognising software to detect deviations.
The tools, methods and what is possible with Condition monitoring is also constantly progressing. Not only with tools available, new methods but also in capabilities. Come hear from expert presenters with genuine real world knowledge and experience on this topic. As an online roundtable, come join for the whole session or only for presentations that take interest and come and go as you please. As SIRF Roundtables we will provide our trademark opportunity for round table discussion between presentations with using breakout rooms.
This roundtable is a chance to learn and share on Condition Monitoring. A chance to share best practice with others and also learn from others.

About SIRF Roundtable Events
All SIRF Rt events are designed to provide a safe environment for open discussion with peers on the topic of interest they are working on, in and around. Roundtable Events like this one are where we get our name from, and they are organised around a topic or theme. Several speakers will present for between 20 and 45 minutes, with a time period for questions. During the event our expert facilitators will also conduct short roundtable discussions on different aspects or parts of the topic/theme throughout the day. There will be numerous opportunities for networking and sharing best practices. These are our premier local events, so don’t miss out!
