This Geelong Design Week, Geelong Gallery invites audiences to an In Conversation event with exhibition designer Peter King and Design Institute of Australia CEO Simone LeAmon.
The discussion explores the design ideas behind Discovering the Impressionists, alongside formative moments from both speakers’ curatorial and design careers. Founder of Studio Peter King, Peter has over fifteen years’ experience creating immersive exhibitions for leading cultural institutions across Victoria. Simone LeAmon brings three decades of design practice and curatorial leadership, including her tenure as the inaugural Hugh DT Williamson Curator of Contemporary Design and Architecture at the National Gallery of Victoria, offering insight into design’s cultural impact and influence.
