In Conversation With Prashan Paramanathan
Event description
Join us in conversation with Prashan Paramanathan, Founder and CEO at Chuffed.Org - a crowdfunding platform that helps people raise funds for social cause projects. It’s already raised more than $65M for over 13,000 orgs.
Chuffed started its life as a charity, then converted structure into a Public Benefit Company - raising a seed equity round of $1.1M led by Blackbird Ventures. It was the first time that any Australian tech VC had invested in a social enterprise. Now, since growing to be the largest social cause crowdfunding platform in Australia, Chuffed.org has set its sights internationally and is expanding to the UK and US.
Join us to learn about Prashan's journey to Chuffed.Org and the insight he has gathered into the world of social enterprise, including the discovery of deep societal injustices.
Whether you're a current or emerging founder trying to make your dent in the universe, or an investor, social change champion, diversity advocate or other curious human looking to learn from a leading voice in the social enterprise sphere; this conversation is for you.
