Romy Ash is a critically acclaimed, award winning novelist. Her new novel Mantle was published this year. Her first novel Floundering was shortlisted for The Miles Franklin Award, The Prime Minister's Literary Award, The Commonwealth Writers Prize and longlisted for the Stella Prize. Her children's picture book As Bright as a Rainbow was published in 2024. Her essays and journalism have been published in The Saturday Paper, The Guardian, Meanjin, The Griffith Review and others.
Jess Scully is a storyteller based in Wagga Wagga and works as a reporter for ABC Riverina. Getting to tell the stories and voice the concerns of the residents of the region is a privilege she doesn’t take lightly. An award-winning radio presenter, podcaster, and even visual artist after entering an art show as a joke. She has a keen interest in society and history - particularly Australian, Indigenous and Women’s histories and how they intersect.
