Whether you're looking to break into a new industry, advance your career, or connect with like-minded individuals, "In Conversations With..." promises to be a valuable and enriching experience. Join us as we embark on this exciting journey and pave the way for greater empowerment and support within the migrant women community.

Our Guest Speakers

This month, we are thrilled to introduce PMW friend and former volunteer,  Joanne Barrow!

Jo has been in the marketing and communications field for over 20 years. Her career spans across professional services, IT, banking and financial services; now making the leap to the not-for-profit sector
with Social Traders. She has vast work experience in large corporations, small & medium enterprises to start-up.

Hailing from Malaysia and establishing her professional career in Australia, Jo brings a unique leadership style. One that is authentic, people-focused, collaborative and nurturing.

Beyond the boardrooms, you'll find Jo enjoying good wine, indulging in decadent meals with her husband, and squeezing in some downtime with a good TV show. Only if she’s not already busy managing her two kids.

About This Session

In this session, Jo will reflect with us on her time starting out her career and not knowing how performance reviews were supposed to go. She will also delve a little bit into how different companies do performance reviews differently. But at the end of the day, regardless of company type/size and managers we have, Jo believes it’s our responsibility to prep the best we can going into performance reviews. And she will share some things and tips to consider

You will have the exclusive opportunity to engage directly with Jo in an intimate group setting. With the intimacy of a small group session (around 10 participants), you'll have the chance to ask any burning questions, seek advice, and gain valuable insights from someone who has walked in your shoes before.

Don't miss this unique opportunity to learn, connect, and grow!

Limited spots are available.
