It is a monthly, online session where we bring professional migrant women to share their experiences and insights into navigating the Australian professional landscape. Featuring a different guest from a different sector each month, you'll have the chance to learn from a variety of perspectives and industries.

We are excited to have Sarita Narayan, founder, director and transformative leader for the last session of 2025. What an honour!

A little bit about Sarita

Sarita is a board director and transformative leader with over 25 years of experience in strategic project management, diversity advocacy, and public sector leadership.

She is the founder of two consultancies. Through SDN Connect, Sarita helps organisations design customer-centric strategies and deliver impactful workshops. Through The Resilient Journeys—inspired by her lived experience as a migrant woman of colour—she empowers individuals and organisations through inclusive facilitation, coaching, and culturally informed strategies.

Sarita has led major reforms across government, championed CALD equity, and influenced national policy frameworks, including inclusive recruitment practices. As a keynote speaker, mentor, and career coach, she continues to drive systemic change and equity—particularly for women and migrants. Her work consistently delivers sustainable, community-focused outcomes across government, business, and grassroots initiatives through purposeful leadership and collaboration.

About This Session

Event Flow:

• We'll kick off with a warm welcome from our facilitator, followed by a quick round of 2-minute introductions from all participants.

• Our guest speaker will then share their professional journey in a 15–20 minute style talk with the facilitator. This is a great moment to listen, reflect, and note any questions.

• A 30-minute interactive Q&A will follow, where you can ask all your burning questions and gain valuable insights.

We encourage you to turn your cameras on to create a more dynamic and engaging conversation! The session will take place on Zoom, so make sure you have a stable internet connection and a quiet space.
