Our Guest Speakers

For our LAST session of the year, we are thrilled to introduce Wendy Mawoyo!

Wendy is a Finance Coach/Finance Educator and dedicated advocate for empowering professional women to achieve financial independence. Originally from Zimbabwe, she moved to Australia over 20 years ago as an international student, where she overcame the many challenges of building a new life abroad. With hard work, she earned her Master of Commerce (Finance) and has since worked across various roles in the banking and finance sector. Her career took a meaningful turn when she began facilitating personal finance workshops, focusing on finance education for women in the not-for-profit sector

As a proud mother of two boys, Wendy also loves spending time with family, binge-watching Netflix, reading, walking and traveling to expand her perspective. She’s honored to share her journey with fellow migrant women and inspire them to achieve their goals.

About This Session

Wendy’s passion for helping women build financial confidence started early. Growing up, she watched her mother and other women miss out on opportunities to create the lives they envisioned simply because they were women. Financial resources were not for girl children. Determined to change this narrative, she created the She PROSPERS program, which empowers women to self-lead, reach potential, and define their unique vision of financial success.

In this session, Wendy will talk about under-earning and the impact it has on professional migrant women

Don't miss this unique opportunity to learn, connect, and grow!
