In-person CERI Climate Cafe
Event description
As we enter the new year, a coalition of dedicated organizations is coming together to uplift and empower communities. The challenges we face—overwhelming news cycles, federal inaction, and the growing urgency of the climate crisis—can make you feel discouraged and isolated. But you are not alone. We have the power to support each other through the highs and lows and build resilient communities rooted in solidarity, hope, and shared action. That’s why we are excited to host a series of FREE Climate Cafes across the state with our partners Sierra Club and Sustainable Pueblo.
What are Climate Cafes?
Climate Cafes are welcoming spaces where you can openly share feelings about the climate crisis in a supportive, non-judgmental environment. During these cafes, we can explore ways to foster hope, build resilience, and take meaningful steps toward a better future.
Location
We’ll meet at Junkyard Social Club from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM. Snacks and drinks will be provided. All you need to bring is yourself and your ideas and emotions.
RSVP here so I can save your spot. I hope to see you there!
In Solidarity,
Eva
“Essentially, at the core, we come to a Climate Café out of love: love we are searching for in ourselves, the love that we hold for family, friends, community, the love we have for other beings and ultimately, if we allow ourselves to feel it … the love to protect life.''
