Event description

Following on from the nutrition winter webinar series, this in-person workshop in Victoria will be hosted by the extension and communication project team.

LOCATION: Shepparton, Vic

VENUE: Fruit Growers Victoria Offices

ADDRESS: 8-10 Wheeler Street, Shepparton

TIME: 9.00am - 12.30pm

SPEAKERS & AGENDA:

  • Introduction – Jess Fearnley NSW DPIRD (10 mins)

  • New Season Products – Dave Hughes, AgNova (30 mins )

  • The power of getting your microbes right – TBA, NEM (20 mins)

  • Getting your testing right for good nutrition – Bruce Scott, Muirs (20 mins)

  • Interactive optimising protected Cherry production scoping session (optional, 30mins)

As part of the Victorian workshop, Jessica Fearnley will also run an optional focus group on the new Hort Innovation Protected Cover cherry project, led by NSW DPIRD. As part of this project, growers will be able to have their say on challenges they foresee when implementing covers in cherry orchards, and highlight areas they would like to see in the project. This will be held after morning tea at 11am.
