Incense Alchemy with Calma Places

Incense Alchemy is a two hour incense making experience with Kristen Budd of Calma Places.

Guests work with pure woods, resins, herbs and florals, no synthetics and no fillers, learning how a scent is built in layers, from the grounding base notes through the resinous heart to the lighter florals.

We begin by choosing an intention, clarity, calm, vitality, grounding, and let the body lead the selection rather than the mind. From there you blend, bind and hand roll your own incense formula to take home.

The blend is made to live in the burner you create in Manu's session, so the two pieces finish as one, a vessel and the incense it was made to hold. No experience needed.

All materials and tools are provided. Attendees bring nothing but themselves.
