Description

Key Learnings:

  • Understanding how the Inclusion Ambassadors approach can be utilised for younger children

  • Exploring the views of primary school children on key issues related to additional support for learning

This event is for education professionals and policymakers.

Join the Inclusion Ambassadors project team to explore how meaningful participation can support primary school children to share their views.

Through examples from their 2025/26 project and report, the team will set out how they utilised the Inclusion Ambassadors approach to gather the views of primary school children, sharing key learnings and exploring what this work taught us about the experiences of children with additional support needs in primary schools in Scotland.

Background:

This webinar focuses on the outcomes and report of the 2025/26 Inclusion Ambassadors primary school work, in which we set out to gather the views of primary school children with additional support needs using the same methodology as our core Inclusion Ambassadors group, adapted to a younger audience.

Facilitators

Beth Fyfe and Katrina Murray from Children in Scotland's Inclusion Ambassador project team.
