Inclusive Education for Educators: Positive Behaviour Support Strategies for Students with Down Syndrome
Event description
We warmly welcome you to join us for:
Positive Behaviour Support Strategies for Students with Down Syndrome
In this workshop, Alison will share practical and evidence-based strategies that educators can apply in the classroom to support positive behaviour in students with Down syndrome. Drawing on both research and many years of hands-on experience, she will provide approaches that are realistic, adaptable and directly relevant to school settings. The strategies focus on both immediate and longer-term outcomes, and are grounded in an understanding of brain theory while keeping the individual strengths and characteristics of each student at the centre.
The workshop will be held at 11am and repeated at 4pm. You can choose which session to attend when registering for your ticket.
The workshops will be held via Teams. You will receive a Teams Link in your confirmation email from Humanitix.
We kindly ask that each person attending register a ticket.
