Income Diversification
Description
With funding under pressure, developing a broader and more resilient mix of income has never been more important.
This session will help social enterprises explore realistic opportunities to generate income from their existing skills, services, assets and audiences.
From trading, training and consultancy to e-commerce, events, regular giving, sponsorship and corporate partnerships, participants will consider what could work for their organisation and identify one or two opportunities worth developing further.

Christopher Graham, Founder & CEO – The Marketing Department
Chris is Founder & Chief Executive of TMD, a Glasgow-based marketing, design and digital agency that works extensively with charities, social enterprises and other purpose-led organisations. Much of TMD’s work focuses on helping smaller organisations compete more effectively through stronger marketing, better digital infrastructure and clearer communications. Chris and his team also support organisations to diversify income, from developing fundraising campaigns and regular giving to introducing e-commerce, paid services, events and other new revenue streams. His approach is practical and commercially focused: helping organisations make better use of limited resources, reach the right audiences and build more sustainable models for growth.
