Incorporated Societies re-registration support (free workshop + consultation)

A practical, free online session to help your society move from “we should” to a

simple re-registration plan before 5 April 2026. Optional limited one-on-one consults

for fully volunteer-run societies.

Main event description

If your incorporated society has not started re-registration yet, you are not alone.

Many groups are still finding time to update their constitution, line up member

decisions, and work out who is doing what.

This free LEAD workshop is designed to help you take a few clear steps now, while

there is still time to breathe.

Deadline reminder: existing incorporated societies must re-register under the

Incorporated Societies Act 2022 by 5 April 2026 (Easter Sunday) to remain an

incorporated society.

• Incorporated societies that have not started re-registration yet

• Societies that have started but feel stuck or unclear

• Volunteer-led committees wanting a calm, workable timeline and next steps

• Clarify the core steps for re-registration

• Outline of the new requirements for incorporated societies

• Point you to the best official tools and guidance

• Leave time for questions

What to bring

Bring what you have, even if it is messy:

• Your current constitution (and any draft updates if you have them)

• Your best guess at a General Meeting date (or a few options)

Limited one-on-one support (for fully volunteer-run societies)

If your incorporated society is fully volunteer operated, you can also register interest

for a free one-on-one online session with a LEAD consultant. Spaces are limited.
