After the presentation, attendees are welcome to purchase a book and/or get their book signed.

Pre-registration is extremely helpful for planning purposes, but is not required. Pre-registered attendees will get priority seating in the event of limited seating. Walk-ins are welcome if capacity allows. 

Description

Put Your Think Into Ink! In this All Ages workshop kids, families, and adults alike will participate in a guided cartooning experience to learn the foundations of comics making and editing. You will be introduced to the traditional drawing tools that cartoonists use for comics making and further have the opportunity to learn about the comics publishing resources available in the city. The workshop will be taught by the dynamic duo of Jenna Kang and Sheika Lugtu, practicing cartoonists and organizers of the Pittsburgh Indie Expo, Cow House Press, and the Drawing Board.
