Indiana State Fair Glassblowing Workshops

🔥 MAKE YOUR OWN GLASS PENDANT TO TAKE HOME! (Ages 10+)

Step up to the torch and discover the ancient art of glassblowing with your own hands. In this 20-minute experience, you’ll create your own wearable glass pendant with the support of our professional artist team. No experience? No problem. Ages 10+ welcome.

• Festival tickets are sold separately and are required to access this workshop. 

• Expect parking delays — we strongly recommend arriving 30 minutes before your time slot.

📍 Workshop Location:

• Inside Gate 3 to the East, next to the Normandy Barn

🔥 What to Expect:

• Choose your own colors and design from 5 options:

  • leaf

  • heart

  • twisty

  • pickle

  • medallion

• In groups of 2, work with an instructor to melt and shape your glass into your chosen design with your own hands! We let you do as much as you are comfortable with.

• 20 minutes to melt + 20 minutes to cool (40 mins total)

• Every finished piece comes with an optional necklace, string and bag

• Group size of up to 8 per session (1 ticket= 1 participant)

• We operate in all weather conditions- rain or shine!

🛑 Safety & Participation Requirements:

• Closed-toe shoes recommended

• Long hair must be tied back
  

• Participants must arrive sober
  

• Loose or baggy clothing is not recommended — it may restrict participation
  

• Waiver required to participate- parental supervision required for minors
  

• Late arrivals may miss part or all of your scheduled session
