Strong Business. Strong Partnerships. Strong Futures.

Join us this Indigenous Business Month for a four-part webinar series bringing together Indigenous businesses, industry and government to share practical insights, experiences and opportunities for stronger business relationships and growth.

Across four conversations, we’ll explore the journey from securing that first contract to becoming a major supplier, building strong and lasting partnerships, improving the way government works with Indigenous businesses, and creating pathways for Indigenous businesses to participate in major projects and infrastructure.

Each webinar will feature experienced voices from across the Indigenous business sector, government and industry, with practical discussion grounded in real experiences.

The series is free to attend and open to Indigenous businesses, entrepreneurs, government representatives, procurement professionals, industry partners and anyone interested in strengthening Indigenous business participation.

WEBINAR 1 - Growing your business beyond the first contract

Thursday 15 October 2026 - 11.30 AM to 12.30 PM AEST

Winning the first contract is an important milestone. Building from that opportunity into a sustainable, scalable business is the next challenge.

This webinar explores the journey from first contract to established supplier, including what helps Indigenous businesses build capability, strengthen their track record and position themselves for larger opportunities.

Hear from Indigenous business leaders and procurement stakeholders about the lessons, relationships and decisions that can support long-term growth.

We’ll explore:

  • Moving from smaller contracts to larger opportunities

  • Building capability, confidence and a strong track record

  • Understanding procurement expectations

  • Developing relationships beyond individual contracts

  • Lessons from Indigenous businesses that have grown their supplier footprint

WEBINAR 2 - Building partnerships to support business growth

Monday 19 October 2026 - 12.00 PM to 1.00 PM AEST

Strong business relationships can create opportunities that extend well beyond a single project or procurement process.

This webinar looks at what meaningful partnerships between Indigenous businesses, government and industry can look like in practice, and how those relationships can support sustainable business growth.

The conversation will explore the foundations of strong partnerships, from trust and communication through to shared expectations, capability development and creating genuine opportunities for growth.

We’ll explore:

  • What makes a strong and sustainable business partnership

  • Building trust between buyers and Indigenous suppliers

  • Moving beyond transactional supplier relationships

  • Creating opportunities for capability and business growth

  • What successful partnerships look like in practice

WEBINAR 3 - Making government easier to do business with

Tuesday 27 October 2026 - 12.00 PM to 1.00 PM AEST

Creating stronger Indigenous procurement outcomes is not only about preparing Indigenous businesses to work with government. It is also about considering how government can be a better customer.

This webinar turns the conversation towards government and explores the practical things agencies, procurement teams and decision-makers can do to make procurement more accessible, build stronger supplier relationships and create better conditions for Indigenous businesses to participate and succeed.

We’ll explore:

  • Understanding the supplier experience

  • Making procurement processes more accessible

  • Building stronger relationships with Indigenous businesses

  • Removing unnecessary barriers to participation

  • Moving from procurement targets towards meaningful and sustainable outcomes

This session will be particularly relevant to government agencies, procurement teams, contract managers and staff working with Indigenous suppliers.

WEBINAR 4 - Creating pathways to major project opportunities

Thursday 29 October 2026 - 12.00 PM to 1.00 PM AEST

Major projects and infrastructure investment can create significant opportunities for Indigenous businesses but accessing and successfully delivering these opportunities requires strong pathways between Indigenous suppliers, government, industry and major contractors.

Our final webinar explores Indigenous business participation in major projects and infrastructure, including how businesses can prepare for larger opportunities and how project owners and major contractors can create stronger pathways for participation.

We’ll explore:

  • Preparing for major project and infrastructure opportunities
