Join Koori Kinnections to learn about Aboriginal culture in and around The Coal Loader

This walk and talk is family-friendly and suitable for mixed physical abilities, and both adults and children alike. Walking/rolling is involved. All children must be accompanied by a ticket-holding adult. 

The program will include 3 components:

• visit the rock engraving site and discover the stories shared through these sites across Australia

• visit the Bush Tucker garden and learn about traditional and contemporary uses of native plants

• a walk and talk through the native bushland to learn about endemic species

Tours leave from outside The Coal Loader, 2 Balls Head Drive. Look for the tour sign. 

All physical abilities are welcome as the site is fully accessible.

In the case of wet weather, indoor activities may replace the outdoor tour.

Recommended for 12+ (younger children can attend however the content is aimed towards older children and adults)

Booking essential – This is a limited-capacity event. Participants must be registered with their own names and contact details.

Cost: $0 to take part however ONLY book if you can make it.

Cancellations: This is likely to be a sold-out event and numbers are limited so if you are unable to attend, please cancel your ticket (link on your receipt) to pass your spot to the next waiting.

What to bring: BYO keep cup and reusable water bottle etc. Please wear closed-toed shoes.

Photos may be taken of the event for promotional purposes. If you prefer your child not to be in any photos, please tell the facilitator.
