To highlight the NAIDOC 2021 theme: Heal Country, heal our nation, the UTS School of Public Health is hosting a research showcase, focusing on health research initiatives involving Indigenous communities.
Join us in a panel discussion, following presentations from the speakers below:
Professor John Evans: “Indigenous Sport and Physical Activity: Recent Research Outcomes”
Associate Professor Megan Williams: “Dying inside: A case study of palliative care in prison for an Aboriginal Elder and implications for health curriculum, policy and research”
Associate Professor Christopher Lawrence: “How can technology help Close the Gap? #thismymob app and Aboriginal Medical Services”
Danielle Manton: “Privileging Indigenous perspectives within healthcare education”
Ray Kelly: “Too Deadly for Diabetes: Indigenous solution to the type 2 diabetes pandemic”
