Thank you for your interest in booking an individual coaching conversation. The information below will help you decide if coaching is for you and what to do next.  

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM A COACHING CONVERSATION

Our coaching session will last for one hour and can cover whatever topics are helpful to you. Some people come with a broad topic to explore; for example, "I feel dissatisfied at work and can't put my finger on why'. Others have a specific question or situation to explore; for example, "I want to develop some strategies for communicating better with my team and my manager".

The most important thing is that the coaching session is a safe, supportive, and challenging environment for you to do intentional thinking and work on something useful for you. 

It differs from mentoring and other types of support because coaching is not sharing advice. Instead, coaching helps you come to new insights and solutions that are right for you. 

Unlike an internal coach or manager, an external coach doesn't have any 'agenda' for the conversation. An external coach is there to partner with you and helps you achieve the goals important to you. 

THE LOGISTICS 

As you book, choose a date and time that works for you and we will send you some preparation information and a calendar invite with the Zoom link within it. However, if you have any concerns about the technology, then please let me know. I would be happy to guide you through it.

Kirsty Elderton has been coaching formally and informally for over ten years working with individuals, teams and organisations through my coaching company and my work as a Principal at the global management consultancy Nous Group, where I lead the design and digital practice. Across both roles, I have worked with many diverse individuals and organisations. I have supervision for my coaching and consultancy work; so you will be in safe hands.
