Individualised living conversations bring together people with disability, their families, allies and professionals with knowledge and experience in individualised living to discuss how we can create opportunities for people with disability to live in a home of their own, with the support they need to thrive. Our panellists come from around Australia sharing their ideas, insights and experience.

Session 3, our last session Believing it is true- what does it take? will explore the challenges that can get us waylaid and how to navigate them. We’ll look at concerns around risk and how a person-centred approach to safeguards and planning can support someone to grow and thrive in their own home. A housing journey story will be shared to illustrate what’s possible, alongside practical ways to think through risks while keeping the vision for a good life at the centre.
