Indo-Pacific NGO Blended Finance Accelerator Workshop
Description
The first call for proposals for the Indo-Pacific NGO Blended Finance Accelerator has closed, but we want to keep the conversation going—especially with organizations interested in applying in future rounds.
Save the Children Australia and DFAT’s Blended Finance and Investor Engagement Unit invites all Australian NGOs and ecosystem partners to join this hybrid workshop. Hear from Joan Larrea, CEO of Convergence, as she demystifies blended finance and shares practical do’s and don’ts for NGOs exploring innovative financing models. You’ll also gain insights from Australian NGO leaders who have successfully developed blended finance strategies.
The Indo-Pacific NGO Blended Finance Accelerator is a $10 million competitive grants program running until 2030. It supports high-impact solutions that advance gender equality and climate outcomes in ODA-eligible countries across the Indo-Pacific.
Developed in close collaboration with Australian INGOs, the Accelerator addresses barriers that prevent NGOs from pursuing blended finance approaches. Unlike DFAT’s other design funding windows, the Accelerator focuses on early-stage solutions and provides tailored, wraparound support to build sector capacity and enable NGOs to participate in high-impact blended finance structures aligned with their mission.
The event will be held under the Chatham House Rule.
The workshop will run from 10am-12pm, including working lunch.
