Indonesia Research Showcase
Hosted by the Sydney Southeast Asia Centre at the University of Sydney
The University of Sydney has a long and distinguished record of research engagement with Indonesia, establishing the first Indonesian studies department in Australia in the 1950s. Recent research continues to be internationally-recognised and directed towards addressing some of the important societal challenges facing this dynamic and increasingly influential regional power. This event will showcase a selection of exciting research being undertaken on Indonesia through the University of Sydney.
Join us for an inspiring day celebrating the depth and diversity of this research. Topics will range from environmental challenges, language, and law, through to cultural change, economics and public health. This showcase brings together leading researchers whose work is shaping understanding and policy across the country.
