Inductions can be time consuming and not always effective. 

A good induction and onboarding process helps to set new employees up for success, and sometimes helps identify where new employees are not suited to roles.

Join us for this informative and engaging workshop in which we'll look at how to streamline your induction process and make sure that new employees get the information they need to work both effectively and safely. This workshop is part of a series presented by TCCI Business Services Manager, Stacey Joseph, in partnership with the Devonport Chamber of Commerce and Industry. 

 Content will include:

  • Ingredients for a good induction
  • Induction versus onboarding – what is the difference?
  • Setting your new employee up for success
  • Using the induction and onboarding process to your advantage

Attendees will receive an template induction checklist.

Facilitator: Stacey Joseph

Stacey Joseph is the Business Services Manager at the Tasmanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TCCI). Stacey has worked across a range of employer facing roles with the TCCI over the past 10 years. These roles have involved working with business owners and managers and their staff to design and deliver programs that support increased engagement, productivity and positive workplace culture. Stacey has over 15 years’ experience as a coach, facilitator, human resources and workplace culture specialist. She has extensive knowledge of contemporary HR practices as well as a strong understanding of the Fair Work Act and its implications for business. Stacey is passionate about working with businesses to design and deliver bespoke solutions to workforce challenges and opportunities.
