Induction to Civvie Street
Event description
It’s a familiar feeling — like you’ve been quietly dismissed after years of service.
Just a certificate that could’ve been emailed and a cold handshake on the way out. The system calls it “transition,” but for many, it feels more like abandonment. And let’s be honest — how’s your pers admin going?
You’re not alone. That’s exactly why we created this workshop.
March Out is a free, purpose-driven event designed to close the gap between who you were in uniform and who you’re meant to be next. It’s your chance to fully, finally, and meaningfully MARCH OUT of the ADF — with direction, support, and purpose.
The only transition Seminar you need, but like nothing you have had before.
Induction to Civvie Street is a March Out workshop—designed by veterans, for veterans—to help you take real, practical steps in setting up and navigating life after the ADF.
Whether you’ve just discharged or have been out for a while and still feel adrift, this full-day session gives you the tools, structure, and support to reconnect with your identity, rebuild your confidence, and start planning for what’s next.
You’ll walk away with:
Basic admin tasks complete (medicare card, DVA white card, Private health insurance comparison)
Creating a new Medical support team outside of the RAP.
A clearer sense of who you are beyond the uniform
Practical tools to define your values and purpose
Guidance to start mapping out your civilian goals and lifestyle
A connection to others walking the same path—you’re not alone
Invaluable content from two expert guest speakers.
This is not a lecture. It’s an immersive, hands-on experience walking away with your prep done.
You’ll be heard. You’ll be challenged. And you’ll leave with more direction than you came in with.

Recently or previously discharged soldiers
Veterans feeling “stuck,” uncertain or undervalued
