Industry Briefing - Security Labelling Scheme for Smart Devices

The Australian Government has appointed IoT Alliance Australia (IoTAA) to lead the co-design and delivery of a voluntary labelling scheme for consumer smart devices. The scheme will be industry-led and internationally aligned, with two key goals:

• Help consumers make informed choices about device security

• Encourage manufacturers to adopt stronger security features in their products
